| DUO-CARE is a new product to help track the two biggest risk factors for people with Type 2 diabetes. This device combines a home-use blood glucose and wrist blood pressure monitor-eliminating the need for two separate devices. The lightweight, easy-to-use monitor empowers users to take an active role in managing diabetes and hypertension. DUO-CARE provides users superior technology for blood glucose and pressure monitoring through the incorporation of Fast Tracking Temperature technology (FTT), Step Deflation and Advanced Oscillometric Algorithm (AOA). This state-of-the-art technology allows for consistent and accurate blood pressure measurements for patients with normal circulation, as well as those with arteriosclerosis (hardening of the arteries) - a challenge for earlier model wrist BP monitors that are not recommended for use by people with diabetes. The blood glucose test uses advanced biosensor technology to provide accurate and exceptionally fast results in 5 seconds using CareSens test strips (already widely available in Australia).
